Ela Guidon is a personal health-supportive holistic chef, whole-food educator, cooking instructor, and health counselor. Born in Peru and raised in New York, she has a deep passion for discovering cultures of the world and their relationship with food. As a holistic chef who passionately teaches conscious eating with wholesome, nutrient-rich foods, she primarily loves farm fresh foods for their flavor and goodness and takes immense pride and joy in the creation of healthy culinary. She enjoys sharing her knowledge about the healing power of food and educates people of all ages to choose appropriate foods to support health and maintain wellness. She brings together a keen sense of choosing the best and appropriate ingredients that she customizes to her clients' health needs. She is a specialist at creating diets that are healthy, tasty and delectable for specific medical conditions that require dietary restrictions such as diabetes, gluten allergies, obesity, candida, and arthritis. In addition to teaching health supportive cooking to adults, Ela thoroughly enjoys teaching and cooking with children so they learn at an early age to make the right dietary choices. Ela has a diverse educational and professional background. She is a graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute for Food and Health in New York and has also completed a 100 hour course of Food Therapy taught by Dr. Annemarie Colbin, Ph.D., the acclaimed author of Food and Healing.
